My travel photography has begun to take shape as of late: landscapes and old men.
Being that I'm an old man at heart, this is not particularly surprising. Here's the newest old man picture.
While hiking through Göreme, Turkey, I came upon this guy selling tea and trinkets along the trail. I bought some tea, sat for a bit, asked him if I could take his picture, and went on my way. But before I was allowed to leave, he insisted on giving me rocks—I can't explain why. It started with a piece of obsidian, then he shoved some small rose-colored stones into my palm.
For the rest of my life I will remember this man as the guy on the trail who gave me tea and rocks.
