This just became an antique, which is kind of sad.
I just got back into film, and it's really a shame that it will be going away soon. All in all, that's probably for the best, environmentally speaking. Yet it still feels like we're starting to lose things that have depth and character; replacing all of that actual stuff with disposable blips glowing on a screen somewhere.
Books, newspapers, and now film. Maybe beta max aficionados felt the same way.
