This was a stupid idea.

It was a stupid idea based upon a stupid premise that was conceived through a stupid joke.

The joke was this: A man—a man with whom I work—often says stupid things. This man's name is Rhys. One of the stupid things Rhys once said was identifying someone he knew as "one of the tattooed men in his life."

This, of course, was just one of the stupid things Rhys has said. But you can read more about that—and in far more detail than I care to provide—on Ashley Schwellenbach's blog, "The tattooed men in Rhys' life."

To make a long story short, this stupid thing said by this stupid man turned into a stupid project that necessitated a stupid amount of work. That work was precisely: 13 photo shoots (14, if you count the shoot that was cut), followed by 13 batches of post processing, all compiled into 13 images on a calendar.

In any case, here's the result ... it's stupid.
